Honda Exhaust & Emissions Parts — Honda Spares Scrap Yard, Lenasia South

Honda Exhaust & Emissions Parts in South Africa

The exhaust does more than quieten a Honda down — it manages back-pressure, keeps the fuel trims honest through the oxygen sensors, and on the diesels handles soot. It also carries some of the highest new-part prices on the whole car, which is exactly why buying used here saves the most. Rust from coastal air and heat cycling in traffic are what finish most Honda exhausts off in South Africa.

What sits in this category. We stock catalytic converters (both the standalone front-pipe type and the manifold-integrated units), DPF filters for the i-DTEC diesels, exhaust manifolds and headers, downpipes and front pipes, centre sections with resonators, rear silencers and tailpipes, upstream and downstream oxygen sensors, exhaust gas temperature sensors, EGR valves and EGR coolers, plus hangers, flanges, gaskets and the small mounting hardware that makes a leak-free joint.

What Honda owners ask us for most

What Honda owners ask us for most. Oxygen sensors are the highest-volume item here across the whole petrol range — the check engine light and a jump in fuel consumption send owners looking, and a good used sensor off a low-mileage donor sorts it. Catalytic converters follow, usually after a rattle from inside the housing tells the owner the substrate has broken up. On the K-series and R-series cars in the CR-V, Accord, Civic and HR-V, the manifold-and-cat assembly is the part people are most shocked by at dealer prices, and it is where our biggest savings sit. Rear silencers rust through first on coastal cars from Durban and the Cape. Diesel CR-V and Accord owners come to us for DPFs and EGR components.

Which Honda models we cover. Exhaust parts in regular stock for the Civic, Ballade, Jazz, City, CR-V, Accord, Brio, Amaze, BR-V, HR-V and Mobilio, plus FR-V, Odyssey, Prelude, CR-Z and S2000 as donors come in. Used catalytic converters and DPFs are inspected for substrate condition before sale, and we tell you straight if a unit is only fit as an interim fix.

Tell us which exhaust & emissions part you need and which Honda it is going on — we'll come back with availability and delivery.

The more specific the better. The engine code stamped on your block matches a part far more reliably than the model year does.

Exhaust & Emissions — Common Questions

Do you stock catalytic converters for Honda?

Yes — both the standalone front-pipe catalysts and the manifold-integrated units used on many of the K-series and R-series cars. Every used catalyst is inspected for substrate condition before it is sold. Send your model, year and VIN and we will confirm which type your car uses, because the two are not interchangeable.

Do you have DPF filters for the diesel CR-V and Accord?

Yes, for the i-DTEC diesel models — subject to donor supply, which is thinner on diesels than on petrol cars. We also stock the EGR valves and EGR coolers that often turn out to be the real cause of a DPF that keeps blocking. Message us with your model, year and engine code for current availability.

How do I know if my oxygen sensor is the problem?

The usual signs are a check engine light, worse fuel consumption than the car normally returns, and a rough or hunting idle. A diagnostic scan will point at whether it is the upstream or downstream sensor. Bring us that reading along with your VIN and we will pull the correct sensor — the two are different parts and are not interchangeable.

Can exhaust parts be shipped safely across the country?

Yes. Catalysts, DPFs and sensors ship boxed and padded, and full pipe sections are wrapped and strapped to prevent dent damage in transit. We deliver to all nine provinces from the yard in Lenasia South and photograph every item before it goes onto the truck.

Not sure which exhaust & emissions part you need?

Send us your model, year and VIN — or a photo of the old part — and we will confirm the exact fitment before anything ships.
