City L15A 1.5 Engine
We pull complete City engines with the ancillaries still on them, and can supply a bare block or a short motor instead where that is all the job calls for. Quote the code stamped on the block along with your year — Honda changed engine families between generations.
City CVT Gearbox
CVTs come out complete with the torque converter and the valve body. They are tied tightly to model and year, so we check the number on the casing against your City's VIN before one ships.
City Radiator
Cores are checked for weeping seams and flattened fins before they go on the shelf. Manual and automatic cars take different radiators — the auto carries the transmission cooler in the end tank — so tell us which of the two your City is.
City Headlight Assembly
Tell us the side, and whether your City runs halogen or projector lights — the mountings and the plug go with it. We check the lens for crazing and the tabs for cracks, then double-box it, because lights travel badly.
City Front Bumper

Common Questions About the Honda City
Is the Honda City the same as the Ballade?
From 2014 onward they are effectively the same car with different badges in South Africa — the Ballade is a rebadged City. They share the great majority of their parts, which widens the donor pool we can pull from. Tell us which badge your car wears and its year.
Which City engines do you stock?
The L15A 1.5 from the GM and GM6 cars is our volume line, with the L12B 1.2 and the newer L15B 1.5 from the GN (2020-2024) also available. The early SX8 City ran the D15B, which overlaps with the Civic of that era.
Do you supply City CVT gearboxes?
Yes — CVT gearboxes are one of our most-requested City parts. Send us the year, engine and VIN so we match the correct unit; the CVT and the older conventional automatic are not interchangeable.
Which City parts move fastest?
