S2000 F20C 2.0 VTEC Engine
We pull complete S2000 engines with the ancillaries still on them, and can supply a bare block or a short motor instead where that is all the job calls for. Quote the code stamped on the block along with your year — Honda changed engine families between generations.
S2000 6-Speed Manual Gearbox
Manual boxes come out of the donor S2000 complete with the bellhousing and the selector linkage, and we turn the input shaft by hand before one goes on the shelf. Tell us the engine it is bolting to — ratios and bellhousing patterns are not shared across the range.
S2000 Soft Top Assembly
Supplied as a complete frame with the fabric on it, or as the bare frame if you are having new material fitted. Tell us your year and which colour top you are after.
S2000 Cylinder Head
Heads come off the donor S2000 engine complete with cams and valves, or bare if you are having yours reconditioned. Tell us which you want and quote the casting number if you can still read it.

Common Questions About the Honda S2000
Do you stock S2000 soft-top mechanisms?
Yes — soft-top assemblies and the mechanism hardware are among the most-requested S2000 parts, because the roof is what fails first on a car this age. Supply is limited by how few donor cars exist locally, so ask early.
Can you source an F20C or F22C1 engine?
Both come through, but rarely. The AP1 (1999-2003) ran the high-revving F20C 2.0 with its 9 000 rpm redline; the AP2 (2004-2009) used the longer-stroke F22C1 2.2. Tell us which car you have and we will keep an eye out if we are between units.
Why are S2000 parts so hard to find in South Africa?
Local volumes were always small and almost nothing is available new any more. Used is the realistic route for nearly every S2000 repair — engines, 6-speed gearboxes, cylinder heads, differentials and body panels included.
Do AP1 and AP2 parts interchange?
Some do, plenty do not — the AP2 brought a different engine and revised suspension geometry. Never assume a part crosses between the two. Send the VIN and we will check it properly before you commit.
